We are looking for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join a well-established provider of standby power solutions. This role offers the chance to work with a company that oversees the full lifecycle of its products - from design and production through to installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance - supporting a wide range of critical power applications across the UK and beyond.

Core duties will include:
- To organise & complete service visits
- To position, install, commission, and repair equipment at customer sites
- Extensive travel within the UK and occasionally may be asked to travel outside the UK.
- Depending on the service and installation requirements, this role may, at times, cross over into sales and technical support
- Travel – expect plenty of travel, with overnight stays on an average weekly basis. Some overseas travel could be available
What we’re looking for from you:
- A Field Service Engineer who’s experienced working at customer sites
- Someone with demonstrable experience working to a safe manner
Qualifications / Knowledge required:
- 18th edition (desirable) – test and inspect
- Electronic fault finding to component level
- Ability to read and interpret schematic wiring diagrams and associated technical drawings
- Microsoft Word & Excel
- Knowledge of IEC wiring regulations
