We are looking for a central "hub" for our team—someone who loves the puzzle of resource management and has a keen eye for financial detail. You will own the flow of work across the agency, ensuring our consultants are effectively utilised while supporting our finance function to keep projects on track financially.
Responsibilities
- Taking a commercial approach to prioritising and allocating capacity across competing demands, including sales, delivery and internal commitments.
- Managing the end‑to‑end resourcing process, matching the right consultants to the right projects based on skills and availability.
- Leading weekly resourcing meetings to identify capacity risks, bottlenecks or under‑utilisation.
- Acting as the bridge between the sales team (incoming work) and the delivery team (current capacity).
- Maintaining and optimising our resource management tools to ensure a single source of truth for all project scheduling.
- Owning the resource utilisation reports, providing a forward‑looking view to give the leadership team the information to make resourcing, recruitment and strategy decisions.
- Monitoring project burn rates to alert project managers when budgets run ahead of plan.
- Tracking and maintaining oversight of budget adjustments, ensuring any changes are appropriately approved.
- Supporting cash collection by tracking aged debtors and following up on overdue invoices.
- Assisting with project invoicing and tracking expenses against project budgets.
- Managing the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- Supporting the month‑end process by ensuring all consultant timesheets are accurate and submitted on time.
- Providing general financial administrative support.
Qualifications
- Agency experience: proven experience in a traffic, resourcing, or project management role within a fast‑paced agency or professional services environment. You should be able to show improvements in KPIs under your watch.
- Organisational mastery: a track record of juggling multiple priorities and projects without dropping the ball. You love refining the tools and software you use, including AI and automation, to make continuous improvements.
- Numerical accuracy: strong attention to detail with experience in basic financial administration or budget tracking.
