Sustainability Consultant role at Seismic – a purpose‑driven, fast‑growing consultancy focused on B Corp certifications and sustainability strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify prospective client leads and design/sell sustainability projects to meet their goals.
- Lead a portfolio of clients on their sustainability and ESG journey, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Translate technical sustainability concepts into clear presentations, workshops, and final reports for senior and board‑level stakeholders.
- Identify hidden client needs and align solutions with corporate objectives and future requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement and optimisation of service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and the wider sustainability community.
- Represent Seismic at industry events, conferences, and round tables.
Qualifications & Experience
- Client‑facing consulting experience in sustainability or ESG across SMEs to large corporates.
- Technical expertise in B Corp, ESG strategy, KPI & target setting, materiality assessment, reporting, and ambition workshops.
- Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment.
- Strong consulting skills: client relationship building, project management, report writing, and presentation.
- Clear, concise written and in‑person communication style.
- Empathy‑driven, human‑first mindset with the ability to adapt to change and manage multiple projects.
- Strong self‑awareness, detail orientation, and people‑oriented approach.
Onboarding & First 100 Days
- Pairing with a dedicated manager and buddy for professional development.

- Participation in fortnightly Personal Growth sessions and Friday check‑out.
Location & Working Hours
Based in London with regular attendance at the Waterloo office at least twice per week. Flexible working hours with options for part‑time arrangements.
