The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

24 Month Contract – may extend for the right person, in line with business need. 37.5 hours a week: Mon‑Fri 08:00 – 16:00 (some flexibility on start/finish times). £12.72 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution or Umbrella hourly rate also available.

We're looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Globally renowned Fortune 100 engineering client's Aftermarket team in Desford. THIS IS A BRAND NEW ROLE, WHICH YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN! You'll work in a pan‑European environment, with different countries, cultures, and stakeholders, and will play a critical part in the department's success by coordinating projects and deployment activities around dealer performance and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Answer the telephone, take messages and answer routine questions
  • Maintain the vacation schedule and master schedule of whereabouts for staff
  • Maintain master copies of organisational policy and procedure manuals and keep them up‑to‑date
  • Type and distribute memos, meeting minutes and presentations for staff
  • Facilitate domestic and international travel arrangements; assisting in payments, expense processing, and charge card reconciliation

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong administrative background, 2-3 years' experience minimum
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive, self‑driven, well organised and reliable mindset
  • Accountability, initiative & ownership to drive actions to completion
  • Ability to drive stakeholders to ensure collaboration, and follow‑up/track actions to completion
  • Excellent written & verbal communications, used to liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Microsoft Office user (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

Desirable

  • Any dealer-related experience (automotive, motorcycles, machinery, equipment / machinery sales or service.)
