The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
This role is open to both graduate/junior and experienced level. It offers the opportunity to work on cutting–edge projects in a wide selection of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Off–Highway and more.
You will play a key role in design, development, and integration of electrical and automation systems for testing solutions, including selecting appropriate hardware such as sensors, actuators, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed drawings and design specifications that meet contractual requirements and promote cost–effective design
- Produce detailed technical documentation including electrical schematics, control logic diagrams and operating manuals
- Ensure designs meet national and international standards, regulations and safety requirements
- Perform self–verification of tasks to ensure quality and troubleshoot issues, recommending modifications or corrective actions
- Ability to specify and liaise on the procurement of electrical assemblies and components
- Support sales in technical reviews of RFQ's, including the ability to define a system outline from customer requirements
- Assist with technical and electrical support/troubleshooting to project managers, production manager and commissioning engineers when required
- Communicate with other departments and collaborate with suppliers regarding product design, operation and integration
- Support installation and design reviews on Customer sites.
- Minimum of two years industry experience
- Degree in electrical and/or automation engineering
- EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical experience (training can be given in either package as required)
- UKCA/CE Design, Machinery Directive and Beckhoff Automation Technology experience
- Full clean UK Driving License
- Valid Passport
