JOB POSITION: Site Civil Engineer.
KEY INFORMATION:

LOCATION: Bridgewater
EXPERTISE:
The activities will be performed on the Hinkley Point C site. You will be required to follow a project working method with high expectations in terms of delivery time, schedule, security and nuclear safety.
- Receive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input data.
- Produce technical deliverables for which they are responsible (design hypotheses, methodology and assumption notes, calculation notes).
- Perform technical verifications of civil engineering design notes, models and drawings.
- Management of transverse civil engineering open points through out to resolution, review and acceptance of Level 3 Civil Design Substantiation Reports.
- Collaboration and engagement with stakeholders to ensure consistency of civil transverse knowledge and approach across full scope of Nuclear Island Buildings, through meetings and surveillance.
- Support to site-based engineering teams to facilitate resolution of issues that can impact site construction, and liaise with subject matter experts to utilise learning and knowledge from the wider organisation.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor\’s / Master\’s degree related to Civil Engineering,
- At least 10 years of relevant experience,
- Experience in design of concrete structure,
- Experience in detailed design or conceptual design in an office or on a civil construction site,
- Experience with site design support.
Software and Tools:
TEKLA, Autocad, Naviswork, PDMS (or any 3D design softwares), Eurocodes,
Language: Fluent English.
