LOCATION: Bristol

EXPERTISE: The Civil Engineer will support a small dedicated transverse team within the Civil group who provide technical expertise across a number of civil building design teams for the Nuclear Island of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) client organisation. The activities will be performed within a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment, adhering to a project way of working with high expectations on delivery time, schedule, safety, and nuclear safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, analyse, and verify the consistency of the input data
  • Modify reinforced concrete structure designs compliant with the ETC-C and other relevant codes
  • Maintain the client’s QA procedures in delivering the CW design
  • Work and review with the designers in the preparation of the design drawings/models modified
  • Manage engineering changes in line with company procedures
  • Liaise with subject matter experts

Qualifications:

  • Civil Engineering background
  • Good experience with reinforced concrete structure
