Looking for an exciting opportunity in the nuclear industry for Hinkley Point C Project or Sizewell C Project? This offer is made for you! We are seeking talented engineers who want to work on the biggest projects and are not afraid of new challenges.

EXPERTISE: We are seeking an enthusiastic Anchorage Engineer to drive the production and monitoring of the civil engineering of the buildings on the nuclear island and propose technical solutions. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, which will include:

  • Receive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input data
  • Produce the deliverables for which you are responsible (assumption notes, technical specifications, calculation notes)
  • Coordinate the work of CAD Designer in conjunction with the Design Office Manager
  • Perform design activities for fastenings in concrete
  • Perform technical verifications of civil engineering documents for their building
  • Create and maintain and be responsible for the Design Risk Register
  • Responsible for anchorage design activities

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Up to 10 years of experience
  • Design office experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
  • Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageous
  • Knowledge/understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering
  • Knowledge of the design of fastenings in concrete
  • Knowledge of the design of reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete structures
  • Experience in dealing with the design and layout constraints
  • Knowledge of Navisworks, MATHCAD, VERIFPLATINE

Additional Information: Candidates are required to currently hold Right to Work in UK.
