As Territory Sales Manager, you will act as the face of the brand to the independent retail channel, delivering premium brand presentation, driving commercial performance and strengthening long‑term partnerships. You will execute a clearly defined strategic plan while bringing energy, commercial insight and brand passion to every customer interaction. The role combines relationship management, brand storytelling, digital merchandising and proactive business development to ensure Seiko is positioned and sold at the highest possible standard. Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Representation and Sales Execution
    • Present and sell Seiko collections in a compelling, professional and brand aligned manner
    • Execute strategic sales plans and achieve or exceed agreed territory sales targets
    • Ensure the brand is consistently represented to premium standards across all accounts
    • Maintain optimal product assortment aligned with global brand strategy
  • Priority Account Management and Digital Excellence
    • Partner with key accounts to optimise Seiko’s online presence and digital merchandising
    • Guide retailers in using marketing assets including imagery, video, product descriptions, and branded content to maximise engagement and conversion
    • Support retailers in promoting launches and campaigns across their websites and social media channels
    • Monitor stock levels weekly and proactively recommend replenishment to maximise sales performance
    • Ensure priority accounts operate at peak sales capacity through effective inventory management
  • Account Development and Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with independent retail partners
    • Present new product launches and secure successful sell‑in of new collections
    • Maintain and strengthen core Seiko families within each account
    • Implement and maintain high quality point‑of‑sale and display standards
    • Ensure in‑store execution reflects brand positioning and enhances customer experience
  • Brand Education and Training
    • Deliver engaging and inspiring training sessions for retail staff
    • Communicate Seiko’s heritage, innovation and craftsmanship through compelling storytelling
    • Equip retail teams with the knowledge and confidence to sell Seiko effectively
    • Reinforce brand values and positioning at every level of the retail environment
  • Business Development and Territory Growth
    • Identify, prospect and secure new retail partners aligned with brand positioning
    • Evaluate new opportunities based on defined brand criteria and commercial potential
    • Expand Seiko’s presence and influence within the independent retail sector
    • Support both Seiko Watches and Seiko Clocks business within the territory
  • Planning, Administration, and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and timely reporting including weekly reports, itineraries, and performance tracking
    • Manage territory planning to ensure effective coverage and prioritisation
    • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Collaborate closely with Head Office, marketing and wider sales team

Candidate Profile

  • Essential Qualifications and Experience
    • Proven sales experience, preferably within luxury, premium consumer goods, or retail
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
    • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation ability
    • Highly organised with strong planning and reporting discipline
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Full driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the territory
    • This role requires some overnight stays across the territory
