Senior Architect with 5 years’ post-qualification UK experience
Seifermann Architects are looking for a passionate Senior Architect with 5 years’ post-qualification UK experience to join our London team.
The role requires the ability to oversee, design and deliver projects to significant clients both private and corporate, in the UK and overseas as well as collaborating with professional client teams, consultants and contractors.
The candidate should be looking for full-time employment, starting as soon as practical.
Skills and expertise required:
1.5+ years\’ post-qualification experience.
2.A minimum of 3 years’ UK experience is essential.
3.Experience in façade detailing, shell + core, and whole-building coordination.
4.A solid and expert knowledge of UK building regulations and construction methodologies.
5.Proficiency in Autocad or Revit is essential.
6.Good experience with an excellent ability to lead, manage and communicate within a multidisciplinary team.
7.A strong passion for technical detailing and high-quality construction methods.
Role and responsibilities:
1.Lead the technical design and coordination of projects, with a focus on Heritage.
2.Projects range from Embassies, TV Studios to High-End residential.
3.Work through all RIBA Stages with a focus on detailed drawing packages from Stage 4 through Stage 5.
4.Collaborate with professional client teams, consultants, and contractors.
5.Develop façade detailing, material selection and construction sequencing of significant modernistic buildings.
6.Manage the overall integration of new-build and refurbishment elements, ensuring seamless coordination.
7.Engage directly with contractor, and co-ordinate and oversee on-site technical delivery.
8.Ensure excellent communication with the wider project team to guarantee and maintain smooth project execution.
