Position Overview
The Relationship Manager is responsible for growing SEI's business through client service excellence in the Alternative investment space. The role requires strategic thinking, strong communication, and partnership building with clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a firm-wide approach to strategic client management.
- Implement institutional-grade client governance framework, including efficient and effective meetings, KPIs and action trackers.
- Measure and be accountable to client satisfaction goals.
- Drive client service excellence efforts across the organisation.
- Provide thought leadership to clients by staying current with market trends and competitor intel.
- Conduct strategic account planning—create and present annual account plan to senior management with a clear path to wallet share expansion.
- Represent the voice of the client to all internal SEI stakeholders and act as the trusted voice of SEI to the client.
- Lead commercial discussions and profitability action plans.
- Act as point of escalation for clients and internal teams.
- Support sales in new business generation and deal closing efforts.
- Provide product solutions—feed the product pipeline and stay ahead of client needs to identify potential future revenue streams to meet market needs.
- Manage third‑party relationships to enhance SEI’s brand awareness with strategic partners.
- Cultivate excellent working relationships with Operations Management.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years’ experience in Alternative funds; private markets experience is preferable.
- Strong knowledge of Alternative fund structures, various fund domiciles, and regulatory environments.
- Track record in cross‑selling and wallet share expansion.
- Experience in Alternative Operations is an advantage.
- Quality‑driven with strong attention to detail and high standards in oral, written, and presentation communication.
- Strong data management skills.
- Curious mindset and ability to execute change.
- Strong organisational and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written) essential.
- Energetic, accountable, and driven.
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude with excellent problem‑solving skills.
