SEI Investments (Europe) Limited (SIEL") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SEI that holds and delivers certain products, services and operational functions for some of SEI's global businesses. This includes asset management services to professional and retail clients via the Asset Management business unit as well as administration, processing and custodian services via the Wealth Management Platform. SEI provides custody services directly to retail clients introduced by these wealth managers. The SEI Institutional business unit within Asset Management provides investment management and advisory services to institutional asset owners.
Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management
We are seeking to hire a UK Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management (PB&WM). This segment provides a technology platform, investment processing, asset management and associated professional services to banking and wealth management firms.
This role is responsible for the strategy, execution and delivery of the PB & WM business and oversees the marketing, sales, client servicing and solution development of SIEL's PB&WM services.
What you will do:
• Achieve business targets, including annual revenue, profit and AUA goals
• Manage people, culture and financials
• Oversee the development of suitable products and services
• Ensure that services are delivered in accordance with agreed client expectations and regulations e.g. FCA Consumer Duty requirements
• Provide regular updates to SIEL CEO with matrix reporting to the global business head on how key deliverables are being achieved
• Ensure that management operates within the Board's risk appetite
- Drive business development and identify new business opportunities
As a Senior Manager approved to perform a Senior Management Function (SMF), you will be required to adhere to FCA's Individual Conduct Rules and the Senior Manager Conduct Rules and will be accountable for the following overall responsibilities for and on behalf of SIEL:
- Producing and delivering SIEL's PB & WM business strategy, including the associated services and activities (regulated or otherwise).
- Production and/or distribution of marketing materials and communications associated with SIEL's PB & WM business line.
- Responsible for SIEL's PB & WM client relationship management, business development, client service and change delivery.
Oversight & Management
- Ensure efficient and effective functioning of relevant teams; and
- Work with the SIEL Chief Operating Officer and second line functions such as Compliance and Risk to develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory expectations and optimise productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the delivery of high quality, scalable and cost-effective solutions
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of high performing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Communicate vision and strategy in a way that creates clarity and inspires action.
- Maintain an environment in which every team member understands the firm's objectives and how they individually contribute to short and long term success.

- Work with the SIEL HR Director to foster professional development and ensure the team has the skills and resources necessary to meet relevant regulatory expectations and operational objectives.
- Develop and manage annual budget, financial forecasts, and cost control measures.
- Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and implement actions to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
- Review contracts, pricing models, and vendor agreements with Procurement and enterprise-wide stakeholders to optimise financial outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining the overall firm's reputation for integrity and compliance.
Responsible for collaborating with the SIEL Chief Risk Officer in the identification, assessment and control of risks and risk events. Your responsibilities include -
- Maintaining a strong understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerances.
- Assessing and considering current and potential risks when making or informing business decisions.
- The accurate and timely escalation and recording of incidents associated to relevant risks.
- Performing regular assessments of risks and controls.
- Ensuring all required Risk Management training is completed.
- Providing line management support.
- Ensuring timely and proportionate response to escalated risks, compliance matters, or other control related matters, raised by Risk, Compliance or Internal Audit.
- Promoting high social responsibility standards.
- Leading by example in the promotion of SEI's corporate culture.
- Identify growth opportunities, evaluate market trends, and develop strategies to capitalise on emerging opportunities in the industry. This will include consideration of growth opportunities outside of the UK across International market opportunities.
- Align execution plans with the strategies approved by the SIEL board and overall vision and objectives of PB & WM and enterprise goals.
- Oversee the development of approved PB & WM products and services
- Ensure the delivery of PB & WM services and the associated customer custody services (in collaboration with SIEL's Head of CASS Operations and Chief Compliance Officer) are delivered in accordance with regulatory standards and agreed client expectations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth across relevant jurisdictions. Foster strategic partnerships with customers. Lead negotiations and strategic alliances to expand market reach.
- Collaborate with SEI's other business units on developing enterprise wide sales agendas.
- Oversee the company sales and after sales activities and ensure that these activities and agendas align with the global strategies and positions of the overall PB & WM business.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, leadership teams, clients, vendors, and local partners, to support compliance, best customer outcomes and growth in the market.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance the company's reputation and expand its network.
- Serve on SIEL's London Executive Committee and related committees and work collaboratively with the heads of the different units to develop and support SIEL's board-approved strategies, operating models and compliance objectives.
- Contribute to SEI's International strategy to develop and support International-wide sales strategy, and operating models and applicable regulatory expectations.
