We are seeking a sales professional to support our asset management unit in enhancing relationships with Wealth Managers and Financial Advisers. What you will do:
You will be responsible for supporting the team in growing SEI’s UK Asset Management business with IFAs and Wealth Managers. You will play an integral role in providing pre and post sales support to SEI’s UK IFA and Wealth Management clients. You will help to build on SEI’s reputation for enhancing IFA and client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales and relationship management teams with preparing for client meetings, presentations and proposals.
- Respond to client inquiries related to SEI’s asset management services and funds via phone and email.
- Support clients through the buying process, provide support and information to clients regarding a wide range of topics including fund information, marketing literature and investment views.
- Produce and update sales reports, market intelligence and trend analysis.
- Maintain and update CRM system – updating for new clients and working with development team on system improvements.
- Proactively liaise with other internal functions (Investment team, Legal, Compliance, etc) and where appropriate contribute solutions to resolve any client service issues/errors.
- Support the production and delivery of sales enablement collateral for SEI and partner solutions.
- Adhere to all relevant FCA requirements and compliance, completing all necessary training within the required timeframe.
- Any other ad-hoc projects as required.
What we need from you:
Experience: Demonstrable experience in a sales or support role within financial services, ideally in Asset Management.
Knowledge & Learning: A strong interest in investment management with a willingness to learn, along with a basic understanding of financial markets and asset classes.
Skills: Strong presentation, communication, time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly grasp SEI products, services and technical financial concepts and effectively convey them to clients and stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in administrative tasks, including maintaining CRM records and sales collateral.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Regulatory Categories:
SMCR – This role is identified as a certified role and is therefore subject to the relevant Senior Manager and Certification Regime Rules set by the FCA. This role will perform the following certified functions: Certification – Client Dealing – CD0 Meeting with Clients. MiFID II – Staff giving information about investment products, investment services or ancillary services.
Qualifications:
IMC. Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Economics, Business, Maths, Accounting, Finance) or Relevant Masters/MBA. CFA, ACA, ACCA, IAQ. FIA (Fellow of the Faculty & Institute of Actuaries).
