What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the engineering team, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining control systems standards that ensure production‑ready equipment and seamless integration across manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of control systems and standards
- Develop and maintain PLC, robotics, and manufacturing control solutions
- Ensure robust integration between shop‑floor systems and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- Provide technical expertise in root cause analysis and problem solving
- Commission and optimise machine monitoring and quality systems
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and IT teams
- Maintain documentation including technical standards, project books, and specifications
- Support supplier development aligned with equipment standards and cost efficiency
Essential Skills
- Siemens trained
- Strong experience in PLC programming and control systems (high priority)
- Understanding of industrial automation and machine electrical systems
- Knowledge of machine safety standards and legislation
Desirable Skills
- Robotics experience
- Industrial Ethernet and network architecture knowledge
- Experience with manufacturing or automotive environments
