We are seeking a highly motivated Automotive Launch Engineer to join our team and lead the successful launch of battery assembly processes for next-generation electric vehicles. This role is critical in ensuring smooth industrialization, quality, and efficiency during new product introductions and production ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch Planning & Execution: Drive the launch of battery assembly lines, ensuring readiness for SOP (Start of Production).
- Process Development: Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to develop robust assembly processes for battery modules and packs.
- Equipment & Tooling: Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of assembly equipment and tooling.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality standards to meet automotive and safety requirements.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the liaison between engineering, operations, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and maintain timelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction during launch and beyond.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably in battery assembly or EV components.
- Strong knowledge of launch processes, PFMEA, control plans, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
