Job Description
We are currently looking for a Power Cable List Manager to join our team in Bristol.
Activities to be carried out as part of the service:
- Perform engineering analysis, including supporting calculations, for specific systems or electrical activities to produce documentation required for the client project.
- Act as the central point of contact for system or electrical activities.
- Concatenate and check the consistency of input data for cabling activities.
- Evaluate the maturity of input data provided by system, equipment contract, I&C, and cabling engineers.
- Produce necessary documents for building the cable list, including voltage plan, summary table, and calculation notes.
- Produce documents for the electrical sub-distribution sequence.
- Monitor the production of design office deliverables, ensuring quality management compliance.
- Draft deliverables for the client to be used as input for site activities.
- Identify, monitor, and progress open points, design changes, and interfaces to track activity evolution, ensure traceability, and proper configuration management.
- Carry out reporting and provide indicators for the project within the team and to the client for the scope under the Electrical Cabling Engineer responsibility.
- Represent and support technical discussions with the client for the assigned scope.
- Monitor and manage interfaces with cable lists produced by contract holders.
- Ensure design consistency of electrical penetrations and cable routing.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of EPR electrical distribution design principles, Instrumentation and Control architecture, and Safety Classification.
- Knowledge of Caneco tool.
- Experience working on an operating plant or industrial site.
