We are looking for a talented 3D Texture Artist to create high‑quality, detailed textures and materials for our open‑world PvPvE survival game. In this role, you will be responsible for texturing a wide range of assets including props, environments, and characters, ensuring they fit the artistic direction and visual consistency of the project. You will work closely with 3D artists, environment artists, and technical leads to ensure all textures are visually appealing, optimised, and compatible with Unreal Engine 5. This position requires strong texturing skills, a keen eye for surface detail, and proficiency in industry‑standard tools such as Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Photoshop. This is a remote contractor role offering flexible working hours. Compensation will begin once project funding is secured; all hours are tracked and documented.

As a 3D Texture Artist, you will be responsible for creating realistic and stylised textures that enhance the overall quality and immersion of in‑game assets. You will generate PBR materials, refine UV layouts, and ensure that assets are optimised for in‑engine performance without sacrificing quality. You will collaborate with the 3D art and technical teams to ensure all materials meet the project’s visual goals and adhere to performance standards. Your textures will help define the tone and atmosphere of the world, contributing to the overall artistic vision of the game.

Segritude Games is focused on building a supportive, fun work environment. We believe in enjoying the journey while putting passion and effort into the game we’re building. From game nights to creative collaboration and daily laughs, we’ve built a culture where everyone feels welcome and appreciated.
