Segmentify is an e-commerce personalization platform helping online retailers to optimise their conversion rates by enabling them to deliver a unique shopping experience for each visitor. Segmentify tracks each individual visitor's behaviour in real-time and offers smart product recommendations by utilising in-house developed AI technology.
We are looking for a top-notch front-end developer who can work framework-agnostic, master modern build and packaging tools, and manage the entire delivery pipeline (code – build – test – deploy). In this role, you will not only develop product features but also handle customer integrations and implement customer-requested revisions quickly and with high quality.
We are not just looking for a React.js developer, but a software engineer that will work with the technical architect to convert business requirements into technical solutions, and then working products. This can include writing web components from scratch that should support all different browsers, devices and also can integrate with any website and framework, or writing a Node.js service that can integrate with CDN or Edge Distribution providers or Cloud Options like AWS S3.
You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and customer success teams, transforming requirements into scalable technical solutions and ensuring smooth, reliable deployments. Our Tech Stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React/Vue/Svelte, Vite, esbuild, Babel, pnpm/npm, GitHub Actions, Jest/Vitest, Playwright/Cypress, NestJS/Express, REST/GraphQL.
- Develop scalable, maintainable web applications regardless of framework (React, Vue, Svelte, vanilla JS)
- Configure and optimize build pipelines with Babel, Vite, and esbuild (HMR, tree-shaking, code-splitting, bundle size optimization)
- Build Front-End CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions (lint/test/build/storybook/e2e, caching, multi-environment deployments)
- Design and implement Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers (preferably using Node.js/NestJS) with API orchestration, caching, rate limiting, and security best practices
- Write robust, type-safe code in TypeScript with well-structured domain models
- Ensure code quality through unit/integration testing, code reviews, and performance/security improvements
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related disciplines from reputable universities
- 7+ years of professional web development experience
- Proven experience with GitHub Actions (or similar) for front-end CI/CD
- Advanced TypeScript knowledge (generics, utility types, strict mode, configuration optimization)
- English level B2 or higher – must be comfortable with technical communication, documentation, and client interactions
- Performance monitoring (Lighthouse, Web Vitals) and logging/observability
- Micro-frontend or design-system experience
