THE ROLE

The Senior Lead Product Services Engineer role is critical to building the foundation of scalable services at Everpure. You will define how Product capabilities are operationalised, ensuring that product adoption is supported by consistent, high-quality service frameworks. The role is responsible for engineering and operationalising repeatable platform services that support the lifecycle of Everpure products. The Role is expected to demonstrate the appropriate level of technical and thought leadership and internal cross‑functional influence, as well as to devise new quality methods, content and innovations to accelerate enablement and influence quality. Leading another Platform Services Engineer, the role is responsible for driving and ensuring completion of all delivery readiness requirements, as well as the automation, and standardisation of product‑attached services, ensuring they can be deployed consistently, efficiently, and at global scale. Working closely with Product Engineering, Portfolio, and Delivery teams, the role translates product capabilities into scalable service offerings that improve operational efficiency and accelerate customer adoption.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Strategy: Help define Platform services scope
  • Define a robust Delivery Readiness Framework for successful deployment (integrating with existing workflows)
  • Define service readiness criteria, operational documentation, and enablement assets before global release.
  • Define & Establish service standards, quality measures, SLAs, and operational best practices.
  • Ensure product services are aligned to product releases and engineering roadmaps.
  • Delivery Operational Readiness: Act as the intersection between Product Engineering & Advanced Services ensuring every product service is operationally ready prior to release (Field Testing / QA)
  • Partner with Product Engineering to operationalise new platform capabilities.
  • Work closely with Engineering / Product Team on Tech Documentation (version control / management)
  • Identify Enablement requirements (Partners, CDP, ASP)
  • Ongoing Software Release impact assessment and notifications.
  • Services Engineering Lab Management strategy / Overview
  • Innovation (Continuous Improvement & Automation): Adopt a Six Sigma type approach to continuous improvement / efficiencies in workflows and technology through automation, simplification, and standardisation.
  • Lead with an AI innovation mindset - Develop service automation, tooling, runbooks, and operational procedures to improve consistency and quality and constantly enhance scalable service frameworks that improve operational efficiency & accelerate customer adoption.
  • Leadership: Lead Platform Services Engineer(s)
  • Program Management approach / governance
  • Close collaboration with Stakeholders / Leadership Teams
  • Act as Technical SME for wider Implementation Center of Excellence Team.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong experience in Product engineering, infrastructure, or cloud environments
  • Understanding of product lifecycle and operational service design
  • Experience building automation and standardised operational processes
  • Familiarity with enterprise Products (storage, cloud, virtualization, networking)
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Python, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Ability to design scalable, repeatable service models rather than one‑off solutions
  • Strong collaboration skills across architecture, product, and engineering teams
  • Attention to detail and focus on operational excellence
  • Strong Documentation and asset management (version control) skills
  • Knowledge / experience of Continuous Improvement Methodologies (ie Six Sigma) preferred.
