Our client, a leading London real estate–focused law firm is seeking a talented Property Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded disputes team. This is an opportunity to work within a practice known for handling some of the most complex and high‑value real estate disputes in the market, spanning commercial, residential and mixed‑use property.
The team’s work includes:
- Development disputes
- Landlord and tenant matters such as forfeiture and lease renewals
- Rent and service charge disputes
- Dilapidations
- Possession claims
- Rights of light issues
- Party wall matters
- Boundary disputes
- Enfranchisement work
You will be joining a group recognised for its strategic, commercially minded approach and its ability to integrate seamlessly with clients’ business objectives. The wider firm is a full‑service offering that still places property at its core, giving litigators access to a broad range of complementary expertise across corporate, finance, planning, construction and private wealth.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4–6 years of strong property litigation experience
- Will be working at or recently have worked at another leading firm
- Will be UK Qualified and currently working in London
- Have a confident grasp of both contentious landlord and tenant issues and broader real estate disputes
- Have the ability to run matters with appropriate autonomy while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture
You will be encouraged to develop client relationships, take ownership of files and play an active role in the continued growth of the practice. The firm offers a competitive salary supported by a generous bonus structure that rewards high billable hours, although long hours are not expected; annual targets sit at a very manageable 1200 hours. Flexible working is part of the culture, and you can work from home a couple of days each week while still being part of a close‑knit, high‑performing team.
