Segal Placements is a Partner led legal recruitment agency focussing on lateral hires into private practice within London. Our contacts within our client firms are senior lawyers, Heads of Department, Managing Partners and CEO\’s. We also work with senior non-Partners (Of Counsel / Director / Managing Associates), who have started to nurture their own clients and who are seeking Partnership.

The 5 practice areas mentioned above remain highly sought after by our clients. AtPresent and we have multiple London Firms, (four in one instance) looking to recruit into these disciplines.

As 2026 starts to take shape, the market remains extremely active and many of our clients are keen to have no Partners in place by the end of the Financial year / end of Q1.

The Firms looking to hire into these areas include include 12 Large City Firms, 3Mid/Town (Holborn/Clerkenwell) and 6 in Mayfair / the West End.
