A leading London firm is seeking an accomplished litigator to join its thriving disputes practice, with a particular focus on corporate recovery and financial services litigation work. The team is exceptionally busy, to the point of turning work away, and is now looking to expand with a lawyer who can step into a high‑quality caseload from day one.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in corporate recovery litigation and will be comfortable acting for challenger banks or other non‑traditional lenders. Exposure to financial services disputes is important, although the role remains well suited to a general commercial litigator who has handled a range of complex, high‑value matters. Experience in insolvency litigation is not essential but would be a welcome advantage.
Applications are encouraged from mid‑level associates through to partner level. Senior associates and legal directors will not be expected to bring a following, given the volume of work already in the department. Candidates seeking partnership should ideally have at least a modest client base, although the firm’s existing pipeline means this does not need to be extensive.
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, expanding team with a strong reputation in the market, offering excellent work, genuine progression prospects and the chance to play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.
