We are working with a leading London law firm that is building an exciting new chapter: the establishment of its Employment Law practice. The firm has recently welcomed a dynamic new Head of Employment Law with a strong reputation in the field—so strong, in fact, that their personal workload is already exceeding capacity.
Our client is looking for an ambitious and experienced Junior Partner or Legal Director (including Senior Associate / Of Counsel) who is ready for partnership. Ideally, you’ll bring expertise in both contentious and non-contentious employment law, but our Firm is open to those who focus more on one than the other.
What is different about this opportunity?
- Less need for a large following – the firm has significant untapped work ready to be serviced.
- Strong internal referrals – thanks to a top‑tier corporate and commercial client base already in place.
- A genuinely collegiate culture – regular social events, cross‑team collaboration, and a progressive leadership ethos.
- Competitive Pay but with a healthy work life balance.
The ideal candidate:
- Comes from a respected law firm with solid technical knowledge.
- Ideally has one or two relationships to bring across; the more they have, the better the entry‑level earnings.
- Is looking for a clear, supported route to equity.
- Wants to play a pivotal role in shaping a growing team.
- Enjoys rolling up their sleeves to develop business as well as service it.
