*FANTASTIC EXCLUSIVE ROLE* - Banking Partner or Sr. Assoc equivalent (real estate assets) London

We are pleased to be working with a well-established and flourishing London HQ\’d firm with a strong presence in the lending market who are looking to recruit a junior partner or senior associate (or equivalent) to join their busy banking team.

The firm advises over 30 lender clients, ranging from banks to alternative and specialist lenders, and they are seeking an experienced banking lawyer who is comfortable handling mainstream lending work rather than real estate finance specifically.

The role is focused on pure banking matters. Much of the work is real estate-led in that the lending is often supported by property assets, but the real estate finance aspects are handled by a separate specialist team. This position sits squarely within the banking practice and involves advising lenders on the structuring, negotiation and documentation of facilities, including bilateral and syndicated loans, secured lending, revolving credit facilities, term loans, development and investment lending, refinancings, restructurings and amendments.

The work regularly includes drafting and negotiating facility agreements, intercreditor arrangements, security documents and related banking documentation, as well as advising on enforcement and ongoing lender-side issues.

The banking team is extremely busy and has a substantial volume of work to support a new hire immediately so there is work to tap into. As such, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to step into a well-established lender practice with real depth and continuity of instructions. The firm would particularly welcome a lawyer who has begun to develop their own lender relationships or referral sources and is keen to grow those relationships further within a supportive platform.

This role would suit a confident and commercial banking lawyer who enjoys working closely with lender clients, taking responsibility for transactions, and contributing to the continued growth of a well-regarded banking practice, without needing to specialise in real estate finance itself.
