We are delighted to be assisting a leading London, mid-sized, full-service law firm who are seeking an experienced Immigration Partner to establish and lead its immigration offering as part of the firm’s continued strategic growth. With a strong market brand, an impressive client roster and a flourishing Employment team, the firm is exceptionally well positioned to support the development of a high-quality immigration practice focused on corporate and HNW private client matters.

The firm advises a broad client base including high-net-worth individuals, SMEs, entrepreneurs, senior executives and international businesses, and is seeking a senior immigration lawyer with expertise in both corporate immigration and Tier 1/private client immigration matters. This opportunity is specifically suited to a practitioner operating at the premium end of the market and is not appropriate for candidates whose experience is predominantly centred on high-street immigration work or volume-based claimant matters.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious individual to build and shape a practice from the ground up with full support from an established platform and strong internal referral network. The successful candidate may join with a Head of Immigration title and will play a key role in developing the firm’s wider private client and employment offering.

Candidates should currently be working within private practice at a well-regarded law firm. Applications are welcomed from existing Partners or senior non-Partners ready to step up into partnership. Applicants must be UK qualified with a minimum of 7–8 years’ PQE and should be able to demonstrate a strong track record in business development alongside an established client following of at least £300,000. Candidates must also have unrestricted UK working rights and no visa sponsorship requirement.

This position offers the opportunity to join a highly regarded and collegiate firm with genuine growth momentum, strong cross-referral opportunities and a clear strategic commitment to expanding its immigration capability.
