Role Summary

As a Producer in the SEGA of Europe (SOE) Product Development team, your primary objective will be to support our products and our Pillar Studios through all phases of development, from concept to launch and beyond. You will collaborate closely with a variety of internal teams at our pillar studios and SOE to guide projects through full lifecycle and to ensure that we deliver quality products to our consumers on time and on budget. Our Production team are part of our wider Publishing group who are a highly skilled, engaged, and diverse group of people spanning Technology, Sales, Marketing, Finance, QA and more, servicing our development studios and leading the SOE Publishing services. Key Responsibilities
- Help to account manage internal and external development studios to build and maintain a successful relationship with SOE Product Development.
- Work closely with each internal Pillar development studio and define support required on a title‑by‑title, studio‑by‑studio basis.
- Provide project development guidance to ensure development time and costs are credible.
- Monitor projects to ensure a clear and up‑to‑date understanding of the product’s progress.
- Report on progress of development, manage risks and issues, escalating as required.
- Provide creative and executional guidance to help improve product quality and innovation.
- Work closely with all areas of Publishing Operations including IT, QA, Localisation, Age Ratings and First Party Platform Submissions to ensure projects are supported throughout development and launched successfully.
- Work with SOE first‑party account managers to update and align on launch and post‑launch support.
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and PR to promote the strengths of products from pre‑production through the product lifecycle, delivering all supporting assets on time as required.
- Work with legal and compliance on all licensing requirements and needs throughout the product life cycle.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Multiple project cycle experience in games development with a proven track record of working on and bringing titles to market.
- Deep knowledge and experience of PC and console games development.
- Great relationship building, collaboration, communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven ability to work on multiple titles at any given time.
- Great account management and project management skills.
- Knowledge of franchise development and long‑term planning.
- Excellent presentation skills and able to adapt to different audiences, e.g. executive management, publishing partners, press and consumers.
- Solid financial and business acumen, along with commercial awareness.
- High attention to detail.
- Knowledge of marketing, PR, competitor products and sales trends within the industry.
