POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you a passionate gamer with a background in research? SEGA is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Research Executive to join our Consumer Insights team based in London. This role is instrumental in helping SEGA’s global publishing and development teams make informed, data-driven decisions through expertly designed research initiatives. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including custom survey design and syndicated data platforms. This role requires a confident & passionate researcher with a keen interest in a range of methodologies, capable of managing research projects from design through analysis and reporting of insights to stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the design & execution of custom research projects: collaborate with the senior research manager to conduct adhoc research, including designing surveys, screeners, discussion guides, testing stimuli, liaising with external providers and internal stakeholders, analysis & reporting.
- Manage qualitative research studies: coordinate with studios & recruiters for concept testing, marketing asset testing, and playtesting projects.
- Lead CRM survey projects: work with team and stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy surveys to our CRM database, from inception to debrief.
- Develop topical research projects: identify opportunities within the industry to inform the business on key areas of interest.
- Explore new tools and methodologies: evaluate innovative approaches to enhance research capabilities.
- Promote research literacy: advocate for research benefits across the business, build relationships, and deliver impactful insights.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2-3 years in consumer research, with experience in qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Proficient in executing mixed-method research, including survey & discussion guide design, recruitment, and data analysis.
- Experience with syndicated data platforms and cross-tabulation functionalities.
- Ability to create engaging, insights-driven PowerPoint presentations.
- Effective at presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Collaborative in understanding business requirements and objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Business Management, or related field.
