Job Summary:

As the Group HR Systems & Insights Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our HR systems and leveraging data analytics to provide strategic insights that improve the organisation's HR functions. Reporting to the Group HR Systems & Insights Team Lead, you will collaborate closely to advance the HR Technology function, which is vital for promoting efficiency and innovation within HR through technological solutions, ensuring alignment with the organisation's goals. This role focuses on ensuring the efficient operation of HR systems, maintaining data accuracy, solving issues, and producing reports that highlight key workforce trends and performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain SEGA HR systems
  • Configure and customise these HR systems to meet organisational needs and align with HR policies, data protection regulations, security requirements, and business processes
  • Provide technical support to HR Teams and employees, addressing issues related to system functionality, user access, and data discrepancies using the HR Ticketing system
  • Evaluate existing HR workflows and business processes to identify avenues for greater efficiency and recommend system‑based improvements
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of HR data within the system by overseeing data entry and conducting regular audits
  • Collaborate with HR teams and other stakeholders to pinpoint system improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting requirements
  • Research and implement HRIS best practices to ensure optimal use of systems and data
  • Evaluate new feature releases / updates in HR technology by configuring, testing and implementing system upgrades or enhancements efficiently
  • Stay updated on new security features within the relevant systems in line with system feature roadmap and implement where possible
  • Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues
  • Create and develop relevant job aids / guides to support with training to the wider HR Teams and employees
  • Document, maintain, and own cyclical processes required to maintain relevant HR Systems and links to 3rd party systems where necessary
  • Support with HR Systems Purchase Orders and Invoicing

Reporting and Insights:

  • Create, produce, and automate HR reports concerning key performance indicators (KPIs), including headcount, turnover, employee engagement, workforce trends
  • Compare internal HR metrics with industry benchmarks to provide insights into the organisation's performance relative to peers
  • Provide analysis of impacts to reporting based on new releases or updates to system functionality and recommend/apply changes
  • Leverage system functionality like Workday PRISM to import external data where necessary

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proficient in HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms
  • Strong skills in data analysis and visualisation tools like Power BI, Excel, including advanced proficiency in data manipulation and reporting
  • Experience with workflow automation tools and technologies to streamline HR processes
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights for the HR team and senior management
  • High level of accuracy in handling and analysing data, ensuring error‑free reporting
  • Use data to provide meaningful insights that go beyond basic reporting, including recognising trends and making predictions
  • Understanding of HR processes and policies, including talent management, recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and compensation
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to employee data privacy and protection, such as GDPR or other regional data protection laws
  • Ability to present technical information and insights to non‑technical stakeholders, including HR managers and executives
  • Work collaboratively with HR and IT teams to ensure data and systems support overall organisational goals
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
