About Two Point Studios
Two Point Studios sizzled into existence in the summer heat of 2016 with a goal to create amazing, deep simulation games that not only remain accessible to everyone, but also don't take themselves too seriously - we call them our little people games! In 2018, our hard work came to fruition and Two Point Hospital was born into the world to much acclaim. After Hospital we had a dream of creating an entire world of these little people games within the place we call "Two Point County", and in 2022 our latest game Two Point Campus was released. With us being a part of the Sega family, and with the success of Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus, we're now pushing forward with our next games to continue to make our "Two Point County" dream a reality!
Life at Two Point Studios is exactly as we believe it should be: fun, flexible and super creative! Everyone in our lovely team gets stuck in. You've got some awesome ideas? You can bet we want to hear them! We're a second family here, we all look out for each other, and we love what we do, but we understand that your real family needs you too, so we aim to strike the perfect work life balance enabling you to have fun at the office and get home to your loved ones with time to spare.

About The Job
We’re looking for an experienced Gameplay Programmer to join the team and help design and implement features for our upcoming Little People games. This role suits someone who enjoys working across a range of gameplay systems—game logic, AI, UI, and player interaction—and who can take features from design through to implementation and polish. Our games benefit from programmers who are both creative and technically minded, with an understanding of how interconnected systems can create interesting, emergent behaviour. You should be comfortable working independently on your tasks, contributing ideas, and collaborating closely with other disciplines. We’re ideally looking for someone with around 5 years of industry experience, but we’re open to talented developers with slightly less experience who demonstrate strong gameplay programming skills. A good working knowledge of Unity and C# is essential, and you should be confident being productive without a lot of day-to-day guidance.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Work closely with design and art to implement gameplay features from initial design through to testing and iteration
- Write clean, maintainable, and robust code in Unity and C#
- Implement and refine gameplay systems, responding to feedback and playtesting
- Help maintain code quality and follow established technical standards
- Plan and estimate your own tasks within an agile development process
- Contribute positively to team discussions, problem-solving, and feature reviews
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Solid practical experience with Unity and C#
- Around 5 years of professional game development experience (or equivalent demonstrable skill)
- Good understanding of core programming practices, including source control, debugging and testing, code structure and reuse, and basic awareness of performance (CPU and memory)
- Strong soft skills, including communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and improve
- Of course, a love for games!
The Ideal Candidate Would Have
- Experience or interest in AI or gameplay systems
- Some experience with performance optimisation in Unity
- At least one shipped commercial game
- Exposure to console development
- Basic 3D maths or graphics knowledge
