Reporting into the Head of Facilities and working closely with the Business Support and Travel Coordinator, Executive Support Coordinator and the Front of House Receptionist, you will be the go-to person for all behind the scenes—repairs, maintenance, inspections, ordering and keeping the wheels turning like a well-oiled machine, helping to shape the day to day experience for everyone in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the eyes and ears of the office spotting issues before they become bigger problems.
- Respond to all issues and emergencies as they arise.
- Liaise with service providers and ensure maintenance, cleaning, waste management and other building services are ticking over nicely.
- Manage access control for staff and visitors.
- Manage contractors onsite ensuring permits are raised timely and safety processes are followed whilst onsite.
- Ad-hoc maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct and document weekly and monthly H&S checks and report key findings.
- Look after Fire Warden, First Aid training and general Health and Safety training ensuring certifications are up to date and the rosters and H&S Board are updated regularly and as necessary.
- Help coordinate statutory testing and compliance (PAT, EICR, emergency lighting, water testing, fire equipment, etc).
- Champion a culture of safety and awareness across the office.
- Assist with the introduction of a SEGA Health & Safety Steering Committee across SEGA Europe and our affiliated Studios.
- Conduct Facilities and Health & Safety Inductions ensuring new and existing staff are fully up to speed with emergency procedures and protocols.
- Oversee the Parkalot system ensuring bookings run smoothly and fairly in accordance with the Parking Policy and be the go-to person for queries.
- Monitor and highlight any misuse such as no shows to the Head of Facilities.
- Assist with any facilities related projects that may arise, including furniture reconfiguration.
- Support with company events, including setting up spaces, coordinating logistics and helping to make the magic happen.
