Working Model: Hybrid (4 days in Studio per week)

Role Summary

The Localisation QA Project Manager is responsible for delivering localisation QA testing on assigned projects, overseeing all phases of test to ensure timely, accurate, and high‑quality outcomes. Acting as the primary point of contact for localisation testing, the role coordinates internal teams and external vendors to maintain clear communication and efficient workflows. The LQA Project Manager ensures that titles in test meet SEGA’s quality standards and platform requirements, while proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Linguistic QA process for the assigned titles.
  • Support management with project financial assets, including POs, providing quotes, monitoring and tracking monthly costs, project amendments etc.
  • Create and update test plans, test cases and checklists.
  • Coordinate test execution and ensure the required level of test coverage is attained in each test phase.
  • Bug and text database management.
  • Ensure defect quality meets the required standard and ensure accurate documentation of the stats and coverage.
  • Identify and resolve critical project and product risks, escalating to the Head of LQA as necessary.
  • Monitor test‑team output.
  • Produce reports on the status of the project, alongside progress, risk and bug trackers to key stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver Localisation Compliance checks ensuring that the assigned title is free from compliance issues.
  • Assist the Localisation Project Manager in the management of Voice Over / Audio related tasks, including Casting and Voice Over files checks, prior to implementation.
  • Support the Localisation Project Managers with ad‑hoc localisation tasks as required.
  • Complete post‑mortem reports for released projects, identifying challenges and proposing solutions to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Share knowledge and experience with new members to create more efficient workflows and upskilling opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Studios, understanding their development plans and needs to ensure effective test execution and support.
  • Support the deployment of testing and localisation tools, including AI prompt writing support.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in localisation, QA or project management.
  • Fluency in English; plus additional languages.
  • Experience with multimedia or game localisation.
  • Experience with localisation tools and platforms (e.g. memoQ, TestRail, JIRA), and familiarity with AI‑driven Localisation and LQA solutions.
  • Strong understanding of localisation QA methodologies, compliance standards, and platform requirements.
  • Excellent Project Management skills: ability to organise, delegate and prioritise tasks in a timely manner.
  • Experience of tracking budgets, schedules and data effectively and accurately.
  • Experienced and enthusiastic team leader, capable of motivating, inspiring and getting the best out of the team they lead.
  • Clear, concise and professional communicator.
  • Able to summarise key facts in written reports.
  • Good knowledge of first‑party Standards.
