Job Summary

As the Group HR Systems & Insights Specialist you will manage SEGA’s HR systems and use data analytics to provide strategic insights that improve our HR functions. You will report to the Group HR Systems & Insights Team Lead and collaborate closely with HR and IT to advance the HR Technology function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SEGA HR systems.
  • Configure and customise HR systems to meet organisational needs, align with HR policies, data protection regulations, security requirements, and business processes.
  • Provide technical support to HR teams and employees, addressing issues related to system functionality, user access, and data discrepancies via the HR Ticketing system and meeting SLAs.
  • Evaluate existing HR workflows and business processes to identify efficiencies and recommend system‑based improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy and security by overseeing data entry and conducting regular audits.
  • Collaborate with HR teams and stakeholders to identify system improvements, automation opportunities and reporting requirements.
  • Research and implement HRIS best practices to optimise system use and data management.
  • Evaluate new feature releases and updates, configure, test and implement upgrades or enhancements.
  • Stay updated on new security features within the relevant systems and implement where possible.
  • Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues.
  • Create and develop job aids and guides to support training for HR teams and employees.
  • Document, maintain, and own cyclical processes required to keep HR systems and links to third‑party systems functional.
  • Support purchase orders and invoicing within HR systems.
  • Create, produce and automate HR reports concerning key performance indicators such as headcount, turnover, employee engagement and workforce trends.
  • Compare internal HR metrics with industry benchmarks to provide performance insights relative to peers.
  • Analyze impacts of reporting changes due to system functionality updates and recommend/apply changes.
  • Leverage system functionality such as Workday PRISM to import external data where necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience – Essential

  • Proficient in HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM or similar platforms.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools and technologies to streamline HR processes.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights for HR and senior management.
  • High level of accuracy in handling and analysing data.
  • Use data to provide meaningful insights beyond basic reporting, recognising trends and forecasting.
  • Understanding of HR processes and policies – talent management, recruitment, engagement, performance, and compensation.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to employee data privacy (e.g., GDPR).
  • Ability to present technical information and insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with HR and IT teams to ensure data and systems support organisational goals.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organisational, communication and time‑management skills; prioritise workload effectively.
  • Discretion when handling confidential information.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience – Desirable

  • Workday Pro certifications in modular areas such as HCM Talent, Recruitment, PRISM Reporting, Advanced Compensation, Absence & Time Tracking, and Learning.
  • Workday PRISM experience.
