The quality and compliance officer is a challenging and rewarding role. Within the post, officers work with commissioned providers to maintain safe services within a continuous improvement approach within the adult social care provision.
The role includes undertaking onsite and virtual audits in line with the council's quality and compliance frameworks to ensure best outcomes for users, and best value for the council. The role will incorporate attending relevant meetings including safeguarding strategy meetings, complaints, data analysis, report writing, through monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators.
This will be enabled through building of relationships with external partners, such as providers, regulators CQC etc., and collaborating with internal partners, managing, and escalating risk whilst developing the market to meet the ongoing challenges within adult social care.
The quality and compliance team are part of an integrated approach and is a key relationship holder for 300+ adult social care commissioned providers across Sefton with an important level of responsibility and accountability.
