An exciting opportunity has arisen as we are looking to recruit Outdoor Activity Development Coaches to add to our pool of Instructors. Your primary role will be the delivery of water sports and land-based outdoor adventurous activities and courses at the newly refurbished Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre.

CLAC now has a 78-hectare marine lake, a health and fitness suite, two fitness studios, meeting rooms and a newly opened Bunk Barn which can accommodate 40 guests. As well as being next door to the recently opened Lake House hotel and bistro, this facility is one of Sefton’s primary assets situated in the stunning Crosby Coastal Park area of Sefton, Merseyside.

As a member of the coaching team, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality sessions and courses, and the facilitation of our Pay & Play hire. We are looking for enthusiastic instructors/coaches, who are passionate about the benefits of the outdoor experience and can deliver safe and fun sessions. In addition to activity delivery, you will be required to assist in the general running of a busy leisure and outdoor activity Centre, e.g., equipment storage and maintenance.

Our current activities include canoeing, kayaking, sailing, raft building, bell boating, team building and archery, and more are in the pipeline. Whether you're new to the industry or an old hand, if you have qualifications and/or experience in these activities, are a team player and an excellent communicator, and can adapt your style to work with different age groups and a diverse variety of people, we'd like to hear from you.

As a valued member of our team, we will look for opportunities to develop your personal and coaching skills in a variety of watersports & adventurous activities. After all, it's great to share our passions!

The post includes evenings and weekend work.
