An opportunity has arisen within Sefton Council for us to recruit Group Exercise Instructors to help support our six Leisure Centres Class Programme. We are looking for qualified, enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our pool of ‘casual’ Group Exercise Instructors to teach our popular classes at Bootle Leisure Centre, Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, Dunes Splash World, Litherland Sports Park, Meadows Leisure Centre and Netherton Activity Centre.
Required and desired classes include: Les Mills - BodyPump, BodyCombat, BodyBalance, Indoor Group Cycling, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Aqua and HIIT/Bootcamp, along with many others. A relevant industry/activity qualification appropriate for the class undertaken is essential.
Job requirements:
- The successful candidate would need to hold a recognised Group Exercise qualification.
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work accurately.
- A confident and professional approach when dealing with staff and customers is required.
- The right candidate will have good organisational skills.
- High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work as a team player; all candidates will receive equal treatment.
