Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Team Manager to join Adult Social Care Business Support at Sefton Council. This is a key leadership role supporting the delivery of an efficient, responsive and high-quality business support service across Adult Social Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Business Support Assistants and coordinate day-to-day operations
- Support service improvement and help ensure residents receive a professional and person-centred service
- Supervise and support staff, manage workloads, and oversee business support processes
- Contribute to service development, maintain high standards of governance, data quality and customer service
- Work closely with managers and colleagues across Adult Social Care to ensure support services are efficient, responsive and focused on the needs of local people
Qualifications
- Experience supervising or managing staff in a busy environment
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of business support and customer service processes
- Confidence in working with data, reports and financial or service systems
- Commitment to high standards, confidentiality and delivering a supportive, person-centred service
