This temporary Teaching Assistant role is for 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, commencing 1st September 2026 and fixed‑term until 31st August 2027, with the possibility of becoming permanent. There may also be additional hours as a Lunchtime Welfare Assistant (paid at Grade C SCP 3) for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teaching and learning activities
- Assist pupils with literacy and numeracy tasks
- Create and maintain a well‑organised and engaging learning environment
- Work in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and families
- Support the school's Christian ethos and values
- Contribute to pupils' well‑being as part of the lunchtime welfare provision, where applicable
