The Governors of Lydiate Primary and Nursery School are seeking to appoint a passionate, positive and energetic School Business Manager. Following a re‑design of our school office structure, an exciting, brand‑new opportunity for a School Business Manager has been created. This role is not just about managing finances; it is about shaping the foundation of our school's future. The successful applicant would be a key member of our Senior Leadership Team and play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of our wonderful school. Ultimately, our new School Business Manager will help steer our school towards greater achievements and sustainable growth, ensuring that every child receives the best possible education.
We are currently involved in the DfE’s School’s Rebuilding Programme and are very excited at the prospect of being in a state‑of‑the‑art building. Lydiate Primary and Nursery School is an amazing school with a forward‑thinking teaching philosophy. Our teams of dedicated staff, pupils, volunteers and parents always work well together and go above and beyond.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic and operational support in managing all aspects of facilities management, finance, health & safety and personnel. You will be jointly responsible for the leadership of the administration, support staff and premises staff team and you will be fundamental in the smooth running of the school office.
In addition, the Governing Body has formally voted to transition Lydiate Primary School to academy status, with the intention of joining Southport Learning Trust. This marks an important next step in securing long‑term sustainability, collaboration and opportunity for our pupils, staff and wider community.
