St Philip’s Primary School is a single form entry school based in Southport. The Governors would like to appoint a Premises Officer (Caretaker) for 25 hours per week over 5 days (Monday-Friday). Working hours to be discussed. Job share will be considered.
The Governors of St. Philip’s CE Primary School would like to appoint a self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious Premises Officer who will:
- be responsible for the day to day operational management, security, safety and cleanliness of the school, including locking and unlocking the school
- carry out and record basic checks and maintain Health and Safety records
- support the maintenance of property and grounds including liaising with contractors
- monitor site stock and order supplies
- have experience of DIY and ability to carry out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating competently
- have knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety requirements and willingness to complete relevant Health and Safety training courses
- be willing to attend to exceptional cleaning duties
- be a team player and can be flexible in their approach to work with good interpersonal skills and communication skills
- be physically fit and able to move resources and furniture around the school
