The Governors of Springwell Park are seeking to add to our lunchtime team and appoint two hardworking and enthusiastic mid-day supervisors to help our children have a happy and enjoyable lunchtime, supervise children as they eat their dinners and help them play well together.

We are looking for applicants who are highly motivated and flexible with a passion for working with children. The safety and well-being of our children is a priority and the successful candidates will be expected to take a role in the effective implementation of all school policies and procedures linked to safeguarding and child protection. In-house training will be provided.

The posts are subject to successful enhanced DBS disclosure. Due to the nature of work, the above posts are exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointments will only be confirmed if satisfactory Enhanced Disclosures are obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS). The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

The hours are as follows:

  • 1 post: 5 hrs per week (1 hr per day, Monday to Friday) term time only.
  • 2 post: 7.5 hrs per week (1.5 hrs per day Monday to Friday) term time only.

The contract will start as soon as possible and will be permanent subject to a 6 month probationary period.
