The Headteacher and Governing Body of Aintree Davenhill Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and self‑motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant who demonstrates a desire to establish effective relationships with pupils, parents and staff, and has a positive ethos and high expectations for the learning outcomes for all our pupils.
This is a senior support role focusing on delivering a bespoke/adapted curriculum to a SEN child working one to one, within a group and within the classroom. The job is a fixed term position.
Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau. The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
