As Senior Property Manager you will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of managed properties and your duties will include pro‑active and reactive maintenance, property inspections, organisation of safety certificates, relationship building with tenants. The role will involve out of office appointments inspecting the condition of managed properties, checking in new tenants and checking out old tenants so the successful applicant must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties:

  • Managing a property portfolio of residential and commercial tenants
  • Managing the end of tenancy process
  • Arranging and monitoring works and repairs
  • Service of notices, S21 and S8
  • Health & Safety Compliance management, ensuring each property has the required documents/tests required such as Gas Safety Certificates, Electric Installation Condition Reports and smoke alarms
  • Arranging and carrying out regular site visits and inspections
  • Monthly reporting
  • Management of safety certificates and compliance
  • Project management of refurbishments
  • Complex issue resolution

You:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Property Management
  • Proficient on property technology and property management applications
  • Willingness to work as a team and assist other team members
  • Ability to work on your own effectively
  • Smart, proactive, enthusiastic, and confident when in an office and public environment
  • Able to work efficiently in a busy office environment
  • Competent with MS Office, Outlook, and property management software
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi‑task, organize, and prioritize work
  • ARLA trained/qualified is preferable but not essential
