The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the development, customisation, integration, and ongoing support of SEFE Energy’s Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud platform.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the platform remains stable, scalable, and maintainable, while supporting long‑term operational success.

  • What Will You Do
  • Design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Omni Studio, and Flows to extend Energy and Utilities Cloud across key business areas including sales, contracts, renewals, brokers, credit, risk, and site management.
  • Take ownership of technical solution readiness by reviewing delivered features, assessing maintainability, identifying risks and technical debt, and ensuring solutions are fully understood and production‑ready.
  • Develop and maintain robust integration components, including API endpoints, Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Apex callouts, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange with external systems.
  • Implement advanced declarative and programmatic configurations, delivering complex automation, validations, and scalable configuration patterns.
  • Support release management and deployment activities, including metadata preparation, environment management, and contributing to structured, repeatable CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure platform quality and reliability through code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, and technical troubleshooting across Salesforce technologies.
  • Produce and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation covering system functionality, integrations, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and sustainability.
  • What Will You Bring
  • Proven Salesforce development experience, with strong hands‑on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.

Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including data models, security frameworks, governor limits, and deployment processes.

  • Experience working with Omni Studio tools (Omni Scripts, Flex Cards, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures) and Salesforce Energy and Utilities Cloud is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience building and supporting integrations using Platform Events, CDC, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom API development.
  • Solid knowledge of testing and deployment best practices, including Apex unit testing, code coverage, sandbox management, and deployment tools such as SFDX and Metadata API.
  • Experience operating and supporting Salesforce solutions in live production environments, particularly transitioning solutions from delivery into ongoing support.
  • Strong solution design capability, balancing platform constraints, maintainability, and long‑term operational sustainability.
  • A proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with a focus on operational readiness, documentation quality, and knowledge transfer.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and trace system interactions across complex environments.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • A strong focus on quality, ensuring solutions meet standards and contribute to overall platform stability.
  • Collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
