The Data & AI Officer (m/f/d) is responsible for leading the development and execution of the organization\’s data & AI strategy, driving data-driven transformation initiatives, and maximizing the value of data. They engage in a Center of Excellence on data and AI topics and develop partnerships to enhance data and AI capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Data Strategy Leadership: Leads the development and execution of the organization’s data strategy, ensuring data is a key asset in decision-making and innovation.
  • Data Strategy Execution: Facilitate the creation of a group-wide (domain-specific) data strategy in cooperation with data architects to enable cross-group reporting and data exchange.
  • Data Management: Oversees data management, analytics, and data quality initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Maximizing Data Value: Ensures the organization maximizes the value of its data by making it accessible, reliable, and secure.
  • Data-Driven Transformation: Leads data-driven transformation initiatives, helping the organization become more data-centric and competitive.
  • AI Roadmap: Develop and implement a strategic AI roadmap that aligns with the organization’s business priorities, focusing on AI use cases that deliver measurable value.
  • AI Adoption: Encourage the adoption of AI technologies within the organization by demonstrating their potential benefits, providing training, and overcoming resistance to change.
  • Center of Excellence Engagement: Engages in a Center of Excellence (CoE) on data topics.
  • Partnership Development: Develops partnership ecosystems to enhance data capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; advanced qualifications in data management or AI.
  • Leadership in developing and executing data strategies aligned with business goals and innovation.
  • Expertise in data governance, management, and quality, ensuring data standards and compliance.
  • Experience executing cross-group data strategies and enabling data exchange.
  • Ability to maximize data value, ensuring accessibility, reliability, and security.
  • Proven track record in data-driven transformation, fostering a data-centric culture.
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and natural language processing.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
