We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, engineers and data teams to shape requirements, improve processes and help deliver our enterprise Data Platform. This role suits someone proactive, structured and passionate about data, who can bring clarity to complex problems and drive delivery end‑to‑end.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Lead stakeholder workshops and conversations to define and prioritise business needs.
  • Translate requirements into clear user stories, process flows and high‑quality documentation.
  • Maintain wikis and knowledge bases to support alignment across teams.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure requirements are understood, feasible and ready for delivery.
  • Apply strong BA discipline to Three Amigos, demos, QA and UAT activities.
  • Proactively unblock issues between technical and business teams, applying sound judgement.
  • Identify and drive improvements to processes and ways of working across the Data Platform programme.
  • Support the smooth transition of the Data Platform into BAU operations.
  • Apply experience in data provisioning workflows, including sourcing, mapping and validating Market Data and Fundamentals data.
  • Use familiarity with providers such as ZEMA, Bloomberg and Reuters/Refinitiv to support integrations and maintain the data catalogue.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Confident communicator able to influence, engage and translate complexity into clarity.
  • Exceptional problem‑solver, capable of breaking down complex issues and shaping clear, pragmatic solutions.
  • Strong technical literacy across APIs, SQL/databases and modern data platform concepts such as data governance, validation and real‑time streaming.
  • Experience with data visualisation/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Comfortable working with Market and Fundamentals data, ideally with exposure to ZEMA, Bloomberg and Reuters/Refinitiv.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise and deliver across fast‑moving, multi‑team environments.
  • Collaborative, adaptable and effective in agile settings.
  • Proactive, dependable, and committed to high‑quality delivery.
  • Understanding of the commodities trading landscape (advantageous).
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) ideally in a numerate or computing‑related subject.
