We’re looking for a confident and detail‑driven Supply Point Team Co‑ordinator to lead the analysis and management of supply point data across our gas and power portfolios. In this role, you’ll combine hands‑on data expertise with people leadership, ensuring accurate billing, settlement readiness, and regulatory compliance. You’ll play a key role in driving data quality, improving processes, and supporting a high‑performing analyst team in a busy, regulated environment.
What Will You Do
- Oversee the validation and analysis of meter read data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and resolve meter read exceptions, including estimated reads, missing data, and incorrect entries, using structured root cause analysis.
- Reconcile meter data against historical usage patterns, supporting processes such as AQ appeals and Shipper Agreed Reads.
- Liaise with Meter Asset Managers, meter reading agencies, suppliers, and industry bodies to investigate and correct data issues.
- Ensure supply point data processes align with industry regulations and internal policies, supporting audits and compliance reviews.
- Work closely with operations, finance, and customer service teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance billing accuracy and customer experience.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts through regular one‑to‑ones, KPI reviews, and performance management.
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performance team culture with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What Will You Bring
- Previous experience in billing, data analysis, or supply point management within the energy industry or another regulated environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and turn data into actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
- Experience working with large datasets, with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools (advantageous but not essential).
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and industry‑specific concepts clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading or coordinating a team, with a supportive and structured approach to coaching and performance management.
