WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Drive profitable, forward‑looking Natural Gas, Power & Clean Energy strategies that balance ambition with smart risk management.
- Optimise structured trading across futures, options and swaps, adapting quickly to market shifts and evolving portfolio needs.
- Work with portfolio managers to deliver consistent results, execute client trades flawlessly, and improve EBITDA through accuracy and insight.
- Turn deep market research into actionable intelligence, identifying trading opportunities and delivering impactful reports for sales teams and customers.
- Build strong, trust‑based relationships with clients and brokers while collaborating closely with traders and analysts to shape trading ideas.
- Help design and enhance automated processes and digital trading solutions, streaming workflows and building a best‑in‑class deal capture ecosystem.
- Contribute to IT innovation, new product development and emerging market channels, widening SEFE’s commercial footprint.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
- Proven expertise managing customer positions and deep knowledge of OTC & Futures hedging and flow trading.
- Strong capability in pricing and structuring futures, forwards, swaps and options.
- Solid understanding of European Natural Gas & Power Markets; exposure to emissions and biofuels is a plus.
- Exceptional commercial instinct — you read markets, understand clients, and act decisively.
- Self‑motivation, resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
- Clear, confident communication and polished presentations that bring complex ideas to life across diverse audiences.
- A track record of improving efficiency through better systems, processes or digital tools.
- Experience using machine learning in trading and proficiency in Python (desirable).
- We will consider applications from recent graduates with a STEM or economics based degree who are keen to utilise their analytical mindset to develop a career in the energy sector.
