Job Role
We\’re recruiting a Peer and Volunteer Mentor Co-ordinator to support the strategic development, co-ordination, guidance, training, and delivery of the Seetec Peer Mentoring and Volunteer programme.
You will work with a range of participants including individuals that are known to the Criminal Justice System. You will actively provide a comprehensive and effective service to manage the administrative systems and processes and undertake specific projects.
Our ideal candidate would have experience of working with vulnerable adults and understand the voluntary sector. However, we aren\’t always looking for someone who ticks every single box, we\’re looking for people who can make us better with their unique experiences.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we\’re offering a competitive salary range £24,242 To £ 28,200 (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities
• Provide guidance and facilitate specific training to volunteers and peer mentors to meet the needs and required standard.
• Support development opportunities for volunteer and peer mentors ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to fulfill their role.
• Provide supervision; challenge and contribute to risk management ensuring volunteers and peer mentors are fully aware of, and understand, the risks inherent in working with the complex needs of others. Ability to manage conflict situations both in groups and individual situations.
• Ensure that all relevant documentation for peer mentors and volunteers are prepared in advance and that information is accurate and up to date.
Skills and Experience
• NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of the Criminal Justice system
• Good knowledge of IT, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and databases to provide management information and case tracking.
• Ability to process large amounts of information accurately and to deadlines.
