We're hiring for an IT Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our IT Services team, based in Hockley, with hybrid working considered. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional to play a key role in maintaining, securing, and improving the technology platforms that support our business and customers. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the operational health, security, resilience, and lifecycle of our infrastructure services. You'll work across server, cloud, virtualisation, identity, storage, backup, networking, and Microsoft technologies, ensuring our environments remain secure, compliant, and highly available. You'll take ownership of infrastructure maintenance, patching, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery testing, and operational improvement initiatives. Working closely with Service Desk, Cyber Security, Cloud & Infrastructure teams, suppliers, and customers, you'll play a pivotal role in preventing incidents before they occur, resolving complex technical issues, and delivering infrastructure improvements that have a real impact across the organisation. We're looking for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive mindset. You'll be confident working independently, managing priorities effectively, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
