We're looking for a passionate Employability Trainer to deliver tailored classroom and virtual training that helps individuals build confidence, develop job‑search strategies, and secure sustainable employment. You'll lead interactive sessions on interview techniques, job applications, and transferable skills, while designing impactful solutions such as mock interviews and sector‑specific preparation. The role also includes promoting training opportunities, supporting participant action plans, and ensuring compliance with quality and safeguarding standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality training to develop employability skills.
- Support participants into employment through tailored training and guidance.
- Meet performance, quality and compliance targets.
- Work collaboratively to deliver workshops, mock interviews and employer‑focused activities.
- Adapt delivery to meet individual and group needs.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold high standards of delivery.
- Promote courses and support participant engagement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold safeguarding and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the barriers faced by unemployed job seekers.
- Experience delivering employability skills and personal development training.
- Ability to design and deliver training both face‑to‑face and remotely using digital tools.
- Skilled in motivating and developing individuals to achieve their goals.
- Confident using Microsoft 365 and modern technologies, including Microsoft Teams.
- Experience working in a high‑performance, target‑driven environment (desirable).
- Ability to analyse training needs and report on delivery using IT systems.
- Full driving licence.
Location & Hours
This role covers North Walsham and Great Yarmouth, alternating weekly. Hours: 37 per week; Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary £26,000 - £29,545 p.a. (dependent on experience) and the following benefits:
